Dr. Giasin is a Greek Diaspora multi-award-winning Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and founder of EyesIntelligent, with extensive international training and experience in modern ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery, and advanced glaucoma care.

He graduated from Jordan University of Science & Technology, one of the leading medical universities in the Middle East.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London (FRCOphth) and a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO).

Dr Giasin completed his foundation and specialist ophthalmology training in the United Kingdom, holding formal training programme posts within the NHS.
He subsequently undertook subspecialty surgical fellowship training in Glaucoma at Bristol Eye Hospital, University of Bristol, UK, under Professor John Sparrow.
He also completed additional training in vitreoretinal surgery at Instituto de Microcirugía Ocular (IMO), Barcelona, Spain.

He has worked as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in the United Kingdom and Europe in both public and private healthcare systems, including collaboration with internationally recognised centres such as Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, where he served as Honorary Consultant.

Dr Giasin has a strong academic background and has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He has served as Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at Cardiff University, UK, contributing to teaching and postgraduate training programmes.

He is an Examiner for the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) and also serves as an International Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK.
He is currently a member of the Digital education and innovation subcommittee of the Royal College of Ophthalmology, UK.

He is an active member of major international ophthalmic societies including:

• European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS)

• American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS)

• European Glaucoma Society (EGS)

Dr Giasin regularly attends and contributes to international scientific meetings and congresses, including ESCRS, EGS, and Royal College of Ophthalmologists conferences.

His clinical practice focuses on high-precision cataract and refractive surgery, advanced glaucoma management, and the use of modern diagnostic and surgical technologies, including OCT, OCT-angiography, automated perimetry, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).
He follows an evidence-based and patient-centred approach, with emphasis on safety, precision, and individualized care.

He has received several professional distinctions, including the Patient Choice Award (Doctors category, 2016) and First Prize in Ophthalmic Photography from the Royal Society of Medicine, London (2013).

Dr Giasin is fluent in English, Greek, and Arabic.
